Residential Plumbing Service Manager Description:

· Lead, mentor, and manage a team of residential plumbing service technicians, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure exceptional service delivery

· Oversee daily operations of the residential plumbing service department

· Schedule, manage, and support a team of plumbers to ensure timely and efficient service to our customers

· Monitor and evaluate the performance of service technicians, conducting performance reviews and identifying opportunities for improvement

· Monitor the progress of ongoing service jobs, ensuring that they are completed efficiently and within the established timelines

· Oversee warehouse manager and ensure our inventory levels of plumbing supplies, tools, and equipment are kept replenished in a timely manner

· Analyze service department metrics, including response times, completion rates, and customer feedback, and implement strategies for continuous improvement

· Address escalated customer issues promptly and professionally, seeking resolutions that align with company policies and customer satisfaction goals

· Keep up to date with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices to ensure the service department remains innovative and competitive

· Prepare regular reports on service department performance, challenges, and growth opportunities for presentation to senior management

· Assists in recruiting and hiring of field team members.

· Onboarding of new service team members, training on processes and use of iPads, phones & Service Titan.

Job Requirements:

· Possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

· Must successfully pass a comprehensive background check

· Must successfully pass a drug screening

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

· Expertise in using Service Titan and Trello or similar service management software

· Intermediate to advanced knowledge of plumbing principles and best practices

· Demonstrated capability in determining labor needs and resources for each job

· Experience in interviewing, hiring, and onboarding processes

· Proven ability to set, track, and achieve short-term and long-term goals

· Strong competency in forecasting revenue, setting targets, and determining capacities

· Analytical skills with the ability to evaluate current data, predict trends, and make informed decisions for future planning

· Proven leadership abilities with a track record of managing team effectively

· Strong skills in coaching, mentoring, and developing team members

· Exceptional time management and organizational abilities

·Demonstrated excellence in customer service with a focus on building and maintaining client relationships

· Ability to effectively problem-solve and offer viable solutions in challenging situations
